61st Recce Roll of Honour includes the following who died on this day in 1945:
Trooper John Rowbotham
who is laid to rest in the Rheinberg war cemetery east of the River Rhine, north-west of Duisberg in Germany, and
Corporal William Veater (age 27) of Chester
who is laid to rest in Chester Overleigh Cemetery in England.
